Mountainbiking

More than 687 kilometers of official bike trails are waiting to be explored. From a relaxed sunday morning ride to a challenging whole week trail: you will find it all. But watch out: very addictive!!

The Oetztal offers 687 kilometers of officially certified mountainbike routes.
There are routes for every level of difficulty and ambition.

The Alp’s highest starting point of an official single trail is in Soelden at the top of the Gaislachkoglbahn at 3058 meters above sealevel. The downhill trail leads down over  1700 meters difference in altitude.
In Obergurgl-Hochgurgl the mountainbike routes start at an altitude of 2000 meters, where the trails lead through amazing alpine scenery up to more then 3000 meters.

At the beginning of the Oetztal you will find various routes and a lot of Tyrolean huts offering hearty traditional meals.

The longest route ist the 135,6 kilometer Oetztal mountainbike trail with a difference in hight of 2911 meters. Starting at the Inntal the trail leads through the whole valley. 

There is a special Oetztal map with all mountainbike routes from „KOMPASS“ which is available in the eight tourist board offices. Included are route descriptions, levels of difficulty and route profiles.
