Laengenfeld

In the heart of the 65 kilometer long Oetztal Laengenfeld is located in a wide basin right in the middle of lush green meadows, surrounded by the beautiful peaks of the Oetztal and Stubaital Alps. On 1200 meters above sea level you will discover picturesque landscapes and an oasis of recreation for body and mind. Laengenfeld ist the high-altitude stamina training center within the valley. 150km of signposted hiking trails, 80km of marked cycling and mountain biking paths, 114km of perfect running routes will offer you plenty of sports possibilities. And at Aqua Dome, Tirol's first year-round Thermal Spa Center, you can relax and unwind.

Laengenfeld is special for its smooth sourroudings. A place of recreation. Feel nature and it’s elements again, a source of energy and strength.

Laengenfeld consists of 21 „Weiler“:Oberlaengenfeld, Astlehn, Runhof, Gottsgut, Huben, Winkle, Bruggen, Aschbach, Im Brand, Burgstein, Gries, Unterlängenfeld, Dorf, Dorferau, Espan, Au, Oberried, Lehn, Lehner-Au, Unterried, Winklen. With 4000 inhabitants Laengenfeld is the  biggest commune of the Oetztal.

In total you can chose from 150 km of Hiking trails, 114 km of running trails and 80 km of mountainbike trails. Picturesque churches, waterfalls, lush green forests invite you to hold on and stay, 17 huts offer hearty traditional meal.

There is a certified „Nordic Fitness Parc“ in Huben. Laengenfeld – located at an altitude of 1173m and with a 110 km of signposted running trails is perfect for gentle to ambitous high altitude training.
