The Oetztal offers all in all incredible 186 kilometres of best groomed courses from Obergurgl to Umhausen. There is a huge choice of different difficulties and types of cross country courses. Anyway, the Oetztal offers for everybody the right course; wether if you're beginner or already a professional!
In Obergurgl, Laengenfeld, Gries and Niederthai offers the possibility to do skating or just in the classic style.

Even biathlon enthusiasts will love the Oetztal. Since some years in Niederthai, Gries and Längenfeld are biathlon facilities installed. Numerous people go there to experience this trend and connect sport with concentration.

The cross country centers are without any doubt Gries and Niedertahi. There are some courses illuminated and as a consequenz also in the evening accessable. But also in Längenfeld is such a construcktion.

The grooming of the 186 kilometers of cross country skiing tracks in the Oetztal take voluntary workes about 80 hours a week. The 186 km are splitted into 69km skating and 94km classic tracks (12km difficult, 94km moderate, 80km easy)
