The Nature Park Ötztal was founded on September 19, 2006 and is considered the roof organization of all protected areas in Ötztal.

With an area of 510 km², this is the second largest nature park in Tyrol and the third largest in Austria. he 67 glaciers reach a total surface area of an incredible 95 km².
Moreover we have the highest waterfall in Tyrol, the Stuibenfall in Umhausen. Our nature park sports 100km of alpine trails with 6 different theme trails, 152 mountains that are higher than 3000 meters and also 48 huts and alps.
