In Obergurgl, Laengenfeld, Gries and Niederthai offers the possibility to do skating or just in the classic style.
Cross-Country-Trails in the Oetztal
Even biathlon enthusiasts will love the Oetztal. Since some years in Niederthai, Gries and Längenfeld are biathlon facilities installed. Numerous people go there to experience this trend and connect sport with concentration.
The cross country centers are without any doubt Gries and Niedertahi. There are some courses illuminated and as a consequenz also in the evening accessable. But also in Längenfeld is such a construcktion.
The grooming of the 186 kilometers of cross country skiing tracks in the Oetztal take voluntary workes about 80 hours a week. The 186 km are splitted into 69km skating and 94km classic tracks (12km difficult, 94km moderate, 80km easy).
