The AREA 47, the ultimate outdoor playground
The Ötztal and its surroundings have long enjoyed a world-wide reputation among outdoor enthusiasts and adventure sports enthusiasts, who find an unrestricted playground for a wide variety of sports on water, in the rock faces and gorges, the forests, in snow and ice and in the skies.
Area 47 in the Ötztal offers a wide variety of outdoor activities for the whole family. A jump into the specially created swimming lake from a height of 10m provides a real adrenaline kick. Blobbing also guarantees a very special thrill. For those who prefer to watch the whole thing from a distance, there is a spacious sunbathing lawn.
In the Area 47 slide park, everyone gets their money's worth. From the freefall slide to the kids slide, everything is here and even the little ones have fun here.
In addition to the Water Area, there is also the Climbing and Outdoor Area. With a climbing garden, steep climbing walls, Mega Swing and Flying Fox. But that is not all. The guided canyonning, caving and rafting tours are also definitely worth seeing.
Since the summer of 2016, there is also the Wake Area. On 20,000 m² the wakeboarding tour may be started with a most modern 5-pole lift.
