Welcome to the Pension Maier! We welcome you to the Pension Maier, a cozy bed and breakfast in Tyrolean style. Our house is located in the district Oberwindau and thus quiet and yet central, directly in Sölden. The district Oberwindau is located next to the center of Sölden, and is therefore easily accessible by car. The view from your balcony will inspire you, the Nederkogl (3.163 m) and the Gaislachkogl (3.048 m) seem to be within reach. Adjacent to our pension is the ****s Superior Hotel "Castello Falkner", which is always good for culinary surprises.The public cross-country ski trail is right next to the house. Two spacious children's playgrounds, restaurants, bars, ski rental, ski school, ice skating rink, and the Gaislachkoglbahn, newly built in 2010, as well as the ski bus stops are only 200 meters away, and easily accessible on foot in a few minutes by a pedestrian bridge over the Ötztaler Ache. The Gaislachkoglbahn has a transport capacity of 3,600 people per hour, and thus brings them without waiting times in 6.7 minutes to the middle station at 2,174 m altitude, so in the middle of the ski area of Sölden, Hochsölden and the glacier (accessible via blue slopes). Architecturally, the cable car system at Gaislachkogl also has the best prospects of becoming a kind of landmark for Sölden.
