A weak area of high pressure will bring a bright start to the day. This high is not very stable, however, and this is why a cold front will move into our region during the day. Clouds will gradually thicken after midday and it will start to snow before the evening.

Foehn winds continue to dominate today’s weather. Despite the foehn, the sun will not break through very often as patches of medium, dense cloud will pass over the main ridge of the Alps at times.
